Six Ways We Protect What You Share

Our data practices are not written once and forgotten. We review them each time payment rails, account verification steps or session-logging tools change.

Encrypted Storage

All account data — including UPI IDs, Paytm numbers and PhonePe handles — is stored using AES-256 encryption at rest. Only systems with an authenticated service key can read decrypted records, and those keys rotate on a set schedule.

Cookie Controls

We use session cookies to keep you logged in and analytics cookies to understand which pages load slowly on mobile. You can turn off non-essential cookies from the Cookie Preferences link in the page footer at any time.

Account Security

Two-step verification is available for every account and we strongly encourage you to enable it. Login attempts from unrecognised devices trigger an email alert to your registered address before access is granted.

Data Retention Schedule

Active account data is kept for as long as your account remains open. Once you request closure, transaction records are retained only for the legally required period, then permanently deleted from our servers and backups.

Third-Party Processors

We share data with payment processors — including the gateways behind UPI, Paytm and PhonePe — and with fraud-screening tools. Each processor signs a data processing agreement that limits what they can do with your information.

Your Right to Correct Data

If any detail in your account — name spelling, linked phone number, or registered email — is wrong, you can request a correction via the privacy team. We action verified corrections within five business days.

We collect your full name, email address, date of birth and the payment identifier you use — such as your UPI ID, Paytm-linked number or PhonePe handle. Device type and IP address are also logged at login for security purposes.

Payment data is passed only to the gateway that processes your transaction — for example, the UPI or Paytm processor. These processors are contractually prohibited from using your data for any purpose beyond completing the transaction.

Transaction records are kept for the period required under applicable law after account closure, then deleted from both live servers and backup storage. Non-transactional profile data is deleted within 30 days of a verified closure request.
